the mech models were nicely made, you can really see the effort put into all of them. the combat system was ok...

nc idea putting in the 'zeroes to one' puzzles in between levels.

although the background got nasty, it was only appropriate.

otherwise, well made and inspired. just impove on the music you use.

First of all this game reminds me of a very old game I used to play on my ol' GB. uh-huh... Sky Destroyer if I'm not mistaken.

Then, the controls were jerky. Just a little nudge resulted in a fat turn, and it took me three or four adjustments to put the bead on just one little boat. It took me so long just to bomb out ONE ship, and shoot down ONE plane because of the controls. Hell, I wasn't getting hit, alright, just like if you're in a drunken brawl. But then, no matter how long I tried to play this, I had a hard time appreciating the game itself because the controls were a handful to master.

Forgetting the controls, it looked decent, the music was ok, the sounds were decent, the effects were mediocre at best.

This game feels like it belongs in the early 1990's.

Not 2006.

The upgrade system is like the ones in old Gradius games...

The combat feels like Drakojan Skies...

Some of the sound effects are almost like... hell, RIPPED OFF from Drakojan skies...

The bosses, yeah, they were nice.

The backgrounds were great and beautiful.

The music was fine.

The female voice for the upgrades sometimes sounded bad. I think it has something to do with the fact that sometimes it came exactly at the same time as some loud sound effects, so got broken up.

Sometimes you just gotta listen to the "kids." Sometimes you gotta not. The real "grownups" gotta know that.

8 coz not much is original, but hell does this look great! especially for something that came from flash.
